Kids Martial Arts
The foundation of our kids program is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is considered the most practical and effective martial art in the world. Submission Grappling
Our submission grappling curriculum is designed to help students apply the foundational principles of jiu jitsu in the context of the No-Gi style. It’s a great way to expand your leg lock knowledge or if you want to compete in mixed martial arts.
Private Lessons
f you are looking to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with maximum efficiency, private lessons will help reduce the amount of time it takes to reach key milestones.

Tyler has been practicing the gentle art for 7 years. Tyler is married with two amazing sons, both of which will be training under his tutelage. Tyler studied sports medicine at the UNCW and received his Bachelor of Arts. His dream has always been to open an academy where he can reach out to the community, specifically the youth.
Johnny Martens
Owner/Instructor & Navy Veteran
Johnny started his BJJ journey in 2010 while stationed in Virginia. Over the years Johnny has trained with some of the elite grapplers in the community such as Bernardo Faria, Marcelo Garcia, and many others and now wants to share his knowledge and passion of BJJ with his community.
